The ability of Sevenoaks Hospital to continue to provide the very highest standards of healthcare is due – in no small part – to the efforts of the League of Friends. Come and join us – life membership is only £25 or you can pay a minimum £5 annual membership fee. PDF

The more equipment and amenities we can help give the hospital, the more care and comfort the hospital can deliver right on your doorstep.

You can help by becoming a member or by making a donation. Or you can simply help in the refreshment bar. There is sure to be a role to suit your interests and to help the hospital. But however you choose to help, you can be sure you’ll be warmly welcomed.

Chairman Ian Philip said: “The League of Friends in its current form has been helping patients, staff and visitors to Sevenoaks Hospital and other healthcare units since 1965.

“As well as generating very substantial funds over this period to provide medical equipment and other items to help this community, it co-ordinates services such as the volunteers’ tea room.

“We carefully monitor proposed changes to the way that the hospital serves the local Sevenoaks population and lobby the relevant NHS Trusts or departments where appropriate. Hopefully we can be seen as a constant in the rapidly changing environment of the NHS.”

In memoriam

Over the years the hospital has also greatly benefited from donations in memory of loved ones which have helped us with large and small projects. A gift in memory of your relative or friend is a very special and lasting way of remembering them.

Sometimes you may like to request that people give a donation instead of floral tributes or it could be the express wish of an individual that this is given at a funeral. For details please email info@lofosh.org.uk.
